Homebrew Dolphin Configuration with Wiimote or PS3 controller

Hey guys this is my 2nd post asking help to gather information regarding console gaming xD

Would like to ask on what i should do!

I recently upgraded my computer and i wanna test out wii on it but i was told i would need to buy a wiimote and a dongle(!?) . How should i go on about this? Some games require the use of wiimote or i can configure the dolphin emulator to be used with a ps3 controller?

I dont mind buying wiimotes but its the fact that i dont understand the whole process of connecting them to my computer? I ve checked if i had an integrated blue tooth adapter but my desktop doesnt have one(!?)!

So can someone suggest on what i should do? Should i stick to a ps3 controller for now and get a wiimote and adapter? And if i am to get a wiimote and an adapter which ones should i get?
