the a3 2015 doesn't work, and some of the samsung j's don't work either, so there's a chance other a variations dont work.

i guess you could buy it and return if it doesn't work

this is italy unfortunately. No returns that's why I'm being cautious

isn't italy in the eu? why wouldn't there be return policies?
if nothing else, italian amazon would take it back, right? (and they probably got it cheaper too)

amazon isn't an option as I'm leaving for summer and I can't buy one there as I'm going to england and ALL phones are locked to a carrier. There are return policies but I can't just say "hey dude,can I return this?" Something has to be wrong with it.

Just tested an A6 at work and can confirm it supports OTG (so should work) - not able to test NXloader tho because not able to load software onto the phone (it's got a locked firmware)

that's weird - mine is definitely the A5 2017 and it does.

samsung sg6 verizon works no problem
samsung sg7 int version works no problem
tested with a SG2-T989 and it did not install i'm guessing because its running 4.XX firmware
I see that they posted this : Update: There is an issue with the signatures for this release file, it won't install on android < 7.0. Will be fixed in the next release.
so thats why i cant get it installed on 4.X i will test once they fix it

Not sure why. Here's a Screenshot of an NXLoader log from my regular phone (Mi A1) and the 2017 A5. For some reason on the A5 the payload fails to load.
