pacman, seriously, almost no one has completed it.

I did hear something awhile back saying that some guy spent hours on a machine, and after level 250 or something, the screen just turned black... It was a long time ago, so I don't know the details.

after level 255 (ie, level 256) half the screen gets garbled, making it impossible to complete. so level 255 is considered the final level.

so yes, to complete pac-man you need to play through all 255 levels. and then you can try again to get a perfect score

games these days have so little replay value....

IKARUGA

Ikaruga fits into the "bullet hell" category wherre you only have a really small hitbox. Also its a lot easier because you don't have to dodge all the bullets, only half.
Don't say its hard cause you suck at it.

If you want a real challenge play Geometry Wars. Just getting all the achievements in the XBLA version is a pain...
