XBOX 360 DVD drive swap?

Hi everyone,

Quick question, I've got a Trinity RGH 360 but i've just been given a Trinity with a flashed DVD drive.

My question is, can I just do a straight swap of the drives so I've got an RGH and LT all in one? Or is the drive signed to it's console?

Any help much appreciated, thank you :D

    No real advantage of using ssd in PS3/X360, they use old Sata1/2 interface. Maybe get little read speed dif but hardly noticeable.

    @K3Nv3, Yup, I was thinking of that because the super slims cannot have custom firmware installed, you can only do PS3HEN which is like a soft-mod of sorts but not permanent.

    @BigOnYa, 1TB SSDs don't cost all that much nowadays, you should be good to go with one. Nothing too abysmal like 16TB as you're going to be using a small portion of that.
