Whether it makes sysnand downgrading obsolete depends on how stable it is. It may still be beneficial to downgrade to 9.2 if you're not setting up a9lh.

Haha good luck finding a arm9 exploit. This is extremely difficult. We need a 3ds hacking god such as yls8.
When I read https://www.3dbrew.org/wiki/11.0.0-33#Process9 , I think it's possible to bypass this stupid list.

There's already someone brilliant who, unlike yls8 is willing to release stuff, is reversing process9.

There are ways to bypass process9's title list (read my posts here) but it doesn't work for NFIRM.

I'm not in a position to release his name, but he owns a legitimate copy of IDA (if you know anything about RE you know how big that is).

IF he or she releases an arm9 exploit that still doesn't mean we will have a 9.2 epicness on 11.0

And IF the old gods and the new do in fact smile upon us and an arm9 exploit is released into the public, if ever, then god save Nintendo.

Since it's a portable console that runs on battery primarily, it's not likely that they would resort to that, I'd think. If you ran out of battery while updating, it could brick.
