As the title says I was wondering if we have any knowledge if it’s something that can be fixed. Mainly because I’m curious if it’s worth taking my switch apart repeatedly to fix the issue. Also I haven’t seen this anywhere so sorry if it’s been asked

Linux? In my PC? It's more likely than you think.

It stays, but you can unplug the battery connector, press power button for a few seconds, re-attach battery plug, assemble the console and do like 2 full battery cycles and it will fix it.
