The Ps uses cartridges, just like the 3ds and so on. is anyone developing or trying to develop a vita flashcard? i know it uses some data you have to install, so it might have to be similar to Sky3DS. or is there any specific reason that a vita flashcard is irrelevant/close to impossible? Leave your thoughts, and if there's something i've missed out on, please inform me!

I'm using a developing PSV flashcart and having dumping games listed below :D

Not that I heard of.

Is it even worth it? Are there decent enough games on Vita that actually warrant a flashcart? Just asking :P

i saw on twitter a couple of days ago that mrgas have dumped a game cartridge and could play them, could this be the start of vita piracy

I don't think so. It is confirmed that, you need to insert gamecard everytime reboot your Vita and the game shouldn't be on PSN.

but he might find a further exploit so that you will need the game cartridge only once, if he does, it's surely going to take some time

While thats widely a matter of opinion, I would say so, if not just whats native to the Vita itself. I would love to have a way to use emulators (I know, just a flashcart isnt going to change that) but you get what I mean. There are a few PS1 games that wont transfer over to the Vita, as well as some PSP ones. I would love to see a flash cart fix that issue.

As for actual Vita stuff, I kinda feel bad to get indies and stuff for free. I like the games they are making and want them to make more. Maybe I am growing up, but I would rather use a flashcart for expensive 3DS games.

I love to buy games and support developers, but if some company made a flashcart or some sort of piracy, I wouldn't mind using it.
The Vita's cartridges are quite secured, yes you can dump them, but the licenses are (probably) the only thing stopping pirates from making a move.

Is a flashcart even possible with the small size of a Vita card in mind? I mean all the electronic stuff needs to fit inside the small space.

Well you dont need to fit everything INSIDE, actually, i wouldn't mind having a little round chunk of plastic, maybe 1cm in size, sticking out of my vita.
