Hello everyone! I'm currently a first-semester college student getting a bachelor's degree in Network Security a little back story to what pushed me into this field was HomeBrew on the Wii. Ever since I first installed the HomeBrew channel and dumped my nand I wanted to be able to figure out how to develop my own exploits for consoles and since the PS4 exploitation arena seems to be a nice and active arena to get into I'd like to join the community in writing exploits for the PS4 now I know this isn't an easy task to do and there's a lot I will need to learn I just need some guidence on where to start this learning process. Everyones gotta start somewhere this will be my starting point. Thank you for any helpful replies.

Well if you know programming look at the 1.76 kexploit and implement the same thing with the new 4.55 exploit

There's nothing to do with what you major and what you wanted to achieve here. I used to work for a sec. firm and only 50% of them were CS/EE/Math majored. If you really want to do what you said you wanted to, you shouldn't waste your time here. Go read some write-ups on Github or elsewhere.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
