Hacking DeadSkullzJr's NDS(i) Cheat Databases

I was obtaining the Mystery Gift in Pokémon: Heartgold and pressing the indicated buttons (select + start). Exiting the Poke mart made the “Pokémon” slot disappear on my bottom screen. I tried catching Pokémon, resetting, Changing cheats but nothing works. I guess I’d have to restart but it’ll probably happen again.

That doesn't sound right, those cheats have nothing in them that directly interacts with any of the code related to the menu options on the bottom screen. Sounds like something else is causing that issue. I can't say any of the other cheats I made could be the culprit considering none of those directly touches anything related to that menu either. Also, the description clearly states that you press the buttons before you enter the PokeMart, which means you don't need to exit and hold those buttons down, you just press them at anytime as long as you are outside of a PokeMart.

Remove ALL cheats, if that doesn't work. PKHeX can be used to fix the save. Although you will need windows for the newer versions, it doesn't work right o wine anymore.

Usually it is a bad idea to have more that one cheat active at the same time.

Cheats don't tend to work in rom hacks if they changed the game header. Even if the cheats do work is a bad idea to use them in romhacks as data can get corrupted.

Yeah but in the change log it says that is working with the ROM hack I have this is the confusing thing.

Hi, brother! If possible, could you add the Pokémon Platinum Quality of Life (by SpagoAsparago) to the database in a future update? This version is based on Following Platinum. I tried editing the XML file myself by copying the Following Platinum cheats, adjusting the title and game ID (I used R4CCE and got 14225C1F), and checked for syntax errors. However, when importing the file into melonDS, the app crashed.

Sorry to bother you with this—I really couldn’t make it work on my own, and this version of the game truly amazes me. Thank you for your hard work and for considering my request!

I'd like to report an error in one of the cheats for Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time (USA). The Max Beans code used (2233C4B6 00000063) actually doesn't work for maxing out Beans, instead it maxes out another item: Blue Peppers. An actual code that works though is 2233C4A8 00000063.

The Instant Messages cheat code for pokemon BW1 doesn't work properly in Desmume. The code works as intended until you enter a battle in which the opposing trainer has no animation (ie everyone except for Cheren, Bianca and N). It works properly on acekard 2i and the same code for B2W2 works as well. Wish I could make it work on the emulator. Any help?

Merry Christmas everyone! I'll keep this short and simple. I'm sure there was some level of anticipation for an update today due to my pattern of releases so far. Plans differed this year compared to previous years, as such, I will be around relatives for a while and away from the computer, all the way through New Years as well. I still hope to get a release out eventually. Sorry if this comes off like a major downer post, but maybe it's for the best, we should be around people we care about than being online anyways .

If the characters persist within the confines of the game, then yes, it's likely possible to access them. Only chance they wouldn't be is if maybe they were leftover or unused, and didn't have corresponding code for proper functionality. For some games that is usually the case. I'll have a look at some point, right now though I'm pretty busy with other things, so I don't have a lot of time at the moment.
