onboard cpu?

My question is more, what the hell they can do with 8MB of flash memory and a FPGA + MCU ?

The updater module looks like a flask of whisky.

What metal ones?

I got one of those dodgey looking plastic ones with my Cyclo...

Now I am curious to see the cool-looking metal ones...

the microSD reader is the same as the one i got with my EDGE

anyway ... great packaging as usual from team cyclops

I guess the Flash Memory is for saving in Clean Mode. 8MB is currently the largest save around, so I guess they used that size.

As for FPGA and MCU, we still don't know what FPGA they're using.

I don't really see the market for this, to be honest. Most people with a DSi will already have either an Acekard 2i or a SCDS2. Both of these cards have reliable teams behind them with regular updates, whereas the Cyclo team seems to have lost much of its credibility lately. And with the 3DS coming out early next year, I don't really see many people buying a DSi before then.

There's still a huge number of people who buy DS systems, mainly for the sake of collecting, and gifting for young children, or just simply playing it for the sake of missing out on a lot of great games.

I have an Acekard 2i with my DSi XL, and I'm interested in this. I don't have a DSTWO, but if this can be better than the DSTWO, I'll definitely get one. It never hurts to have a backup card.

If this cart work on 3DS (to play DS game, duh!) maybe I'll buy one, but only if they do more update just like before B.4.

My sources told me that the "special feature" in the CycloDSi will make it okie-mc-smoky-skiddly-doo!

Thing is though, they need to keep the old CycloDS users happy too.

New info and hi-res pics of the CycloDSi may surface as soon as December 13 here: http://www.teamcyclops.com/ Their forums are supposed to come back up within the next 2 weeks.

I don't see anything that tells me this is better than the dstwo or justify the $50 pre-order price
just looks like a cyclods for dsi, maybe after monday there will be more info

The DS scence is coming to an end, (U) games are not even being released anymore
with the 3DS is right around the corner, seems like the people who feeds the ds scene (with games) has already left, or are leaving.
I hope TC gives me a reason to buy one of these $50 cart..because I was hoping for a cart as good as the dstwo
