just change the first number in the byte at 0x14031.. 0 = no hat

and then found what I THOUGHT 0x14031 was in the program,

and then changed the first thing in 1+ to 0... and got that weird hat HAHA.

But I don't think that's correct hence the messed up hat lol...

Yeah, hat is the upper 5 bits.

0x08 = 00001000 = hat index #1.

So that's just an unavailable beta hat you're wearing.

I'm not entirely sure what "index" means (still don't know anything about hex, I really should get on that...) but I edited Address 0x14030, part 3+ from 0A to 0B. If that doesn't help, I'm sorry for being too noob, haha. I'm just changing random numbers and seeing what happens, honestly.
