    Hello Friends,

Here are some tips and custom channel for Neek2o users:

The information provided in this post is based on a personal experiance and might not be 100% accurate if you find any misleading or wrong info, or if the channel links are dead please let me know to make the necessary adjustments.

As it's known Neek2o is a Nand emulator for the wii that can emulate nands on SD and USB devices allows playing Wiiware and testing hacks, appz and themes (just to name a few)

I'm not going to talk about how to build an emulated Nand here.
For full info on Neek2o Visit http://gbatemp.net/t.../313314-neek2o/

The Custom Neek2o channels shown here are based on the official neek2o_NK2O_1.wad from Neek2o Download site: http://code.google.c.../downloads/list
which is based on the Diddy81 (King of Themes) mymenuify channel on his homepage (http://gbatemp.net/t...-team-creations)and on 2 anonymous BootMii channels I found on Filecrop (one used as a template for the theme and the 2nd for the Loader)

The following method will allow simultaneous use of Sneek and Uneek Neek2o Channels.
it also allows accessing BootMiiIOS via a channel too.
I also included few channels that I believe will make working with Neek2o nands easier and more practical.

Channels Needed Based on official Neek2o channel (Pick Just One) :
This can Launch both Sneek & Uneek Nands (Doesn't require SD card to be present for Uneek)
Just install with Wad Manager and make the channel boot the Emu-Nand you choose by creating a nandpath.bin in SNEEK folder on SD and USB root
nandpath.bin is a txt file containing the path to your Emu Nand ex: \nands\nand1 it is executed before nandcfg.bin and hence forces neek2o to run the selected nand
If you have problems with this file try deleting nandcfg.bin in Sneek folder and relaunch the channel
It might take few trials to make this work as needed.
Tip: Nandpath.bin is no longer supported in neek2o rev90+, just use nandpath.bin in this case

In case you have 2 or more Nands on SD or USD you can switch from 1 nand to the other (on same device) by accessing the di menu options (Press (1) then (+) Select Nand Press (A))

You need just one of the following
    1. "Neek2o Uneek - NK2O.wad" Launches Neek2o Nand with Uneek Logo
    http://www.mediafire...qpp1mpga6pdpn1f
    or
    2. "Neek2o Sneek - NK2O.wad" Same as above but with Sneek logo
    http://www.mediafire...iew5rn7772krdlz

Channels Needed based on bootmii launcher (launches armboot.bin is SD:\bootmii folder)
In this case you only need to replace armboot.bin in bootmii folder with the the one from the application you need.
Three choices are available here: BootMii IOS, Sneek or Uneek - Also just pick one
bootmii folder and armboot.bin are automatically created with Sneek installation, you can also get them using ModMii (link) Sneek installation guide [don't forget to rename "bootmiisneek" and "bootmiiuneek" folders to just "bootmii" when copied to SD card
    Link for ModMii: http://gbatemp.net/t...-support-topic/

    Downloads:

You need just one of the following
    A. "BootMii Channel - BMII.wad" with Bootmii logo
    http://www.mediafire...yju8t5ijm85sexi
    or
    B. "SNEEK Channel - BMIS.wad" with Sneek logo
    http://www.mediafire...jzn6u6nm66sm7f3
    or
    C. "UNEEK Channel - BMIU.wad" with Uneek logo
    http://www.mediafire...03loeusckg929el
    or
D."UNEEK Channel - BMU2.wad" Original Neek2o channel with Uneek logo
    http://www.mediafire...7xi78g01iqq43qn
    or
E."SNEEK Channel - BMS2.wad" Original Neek2o Channel with Sneek logo
    http://www.mediafire...zyqigh9rq4dzq2k

    Channel for EmuNands:

Required to go back to real Nand - Always use this channel to exit neek2o or you might get into trouble (in case problem happens like black screen delete nandcfg.bin)
    I. "Back 2 Nand - NK2O.wad"
    http://www.mediafire...5pvano2mwvtc4lw

Optional Channels for EmuNands make your life easier:
Wad Managers & Homebrew Filter allows installation of wads without using your PC and access to Homebrew appz
II. "WAD Manager 1.8 - WADS.wad" works in~95% of cases
    http://www.mediafire...2of5pa8eiijq5vy
    or
III. "WadMgr-YAWMN.wad" install with IOS58 249 may freeze - you might need to uninstall twice for full delete
    http://www.mediafire...4tc3tvmoaimswoo
IV. "Homebrew_Filter_r32.wad" based on Homebrew channel 1.0.7
    http://www.mediafire...6ptd8ebc6di9aeb
    V. "Snort48+ v1_1 - SORT.wad" Handy tool for managing and sorting channels when more than 48 channels are present.
    http://www.mediafire...rkhjt3pyn46sap5
VI. Post Loader 3 is agreat system menu replacement and universal forwarder for games, wiiware, dml, and homebrew
Forwarder link on google code: http://code.google.c.../downloads/list

    You need to have:
*1 channel based on NK2O booter (ex: Uneek is best since SD independent & adjust nandpath/nandcfg accordingly)
*1 Channel based on Bootmii launcher (ex: Sneek & rename bootmiisneek folder to bootmii in SD root)
*Back to Nand Channel in all emuNands
    *Optional channels if needed

Big thanks to OBCD & Overjoy for developing Neek2o and making Wii users happy by allowing installation and testing of potentially dangerous stuff and application on emulated Nands rather than on Real Nands and hence Bricking the Wii.

Hope many poeple can benefit from these tips and channels.

    Thank you
    Abz

I believe diddy (partially) tests themes using Dolphin (for most themes, you can't test the full theme as they are too large and cause Dolphin to crash) and then puts them together and tests them on real NAND, yes.

it's not that risky to install untested themes or channels as long as you have priiloader or bootmii@boot2 installed (and some common sense)

thats how i do it now days yes but the only theme we released that was made that way was the Wii OS theme
before that theme we did all the testing on real nand and bricked many times when developing new hacks

and the channels section is at the bottom of the first post in my theme thread just look for mymenuify

I noticed that this theme was not original because the banner contains 6 moving png images where only 3 png were duplicated. (Now it makes sense)

just saw this post, i did diddy told everyone who/were i got it from, even posted the source for the channel. i didn't forget you. just wish people would tell me they are hosting the channels i make.. already had some get screwed up. this is why i don't make them for posting or sharing..
@abdalla terro, next time ask me if it's cool to host my channel, even though it's based off of diddy's who i have much respect for. like i said before in your other post, i did tell every one were i got the base for the channel an even posted the source of the channel.
