I've checked the home-post (http://www.angeleden.net/bbs/read.php?tid=1048) again, and now it says '2007.09.12' at the link to the source code!
The only problem is, when you click, it you get some sort of error. Now if we could find someone who can speak (well, write) Chinese, he could probably post in that topic to say that the link doesn't work. (or someone could try to find out if the new version might have a typo in it's name

Now that CrystalTile2 supports language files (*.lng), could someone create a English lng file or link the Google translated lng file from the devs?
 
There was a bunch of 3d work done over at the tahaxan forums and I was working on some myself.
My stuff is currently halfway around the world though and was not much more than what was done in the link below.
It is pretty much all hex editor based and is certainly no tile editor level of ease:

I saw your great work, you are like the reference, but are you using openGL code or the dsdev kit ?

this indeed is the best rom hacking software....but it still dont .sdat hacking feature...it only display and play file from .sdat but it dont allow us to change it....

edit: look like it does include a .sdat editor....
 
@Chopders I am not kiwi(.ds) if that is what you were thinking.
Most of my work was based around no$gba 3d section (which I can not believe I forgot to link: http://nocash.emubase.de/gbatek.htm#ds3dvideo ) , my hex editor (educated guesses as to what does what and how to change it) and no$gba (essentially a glorified viewer).
The only real advantage to this is I am not locked to nsmbd (a lot of companies use their own formats for 3d: I ultimately intend to hack eragon for while the game is not great the engine is pretty good which could mean a total conversion hack).

You keep linking to that thread whenever someone asks for an English version but it seems as if I'm too stupid to get it because I don't see an English version there anywhere, just cryptic talk about "language files" which are nowhere to be found.

well thanks to this, i able to undub Rune Factory without a problem....however, the sound_data.sdat editor doesnt work....
