.com domains cost less then $8 a year. lol, i had several unused domains. Them having a 'domain name' doesn't mean anything.

in my country domain dot com are 50000 IDR = 4.2 $ only but expensive on hosting.

but for all maintaining a website is expensive. is not just cost domain per year and hosting per month. if they on china, is need some extra data to register a domain on their country. btw if they register not on china i don't know. after i see they register on godaddy (maybe...).

They aren't the real crown3ds team. In fact, the real team warned everyone that they were faking people on their own site. Granted, both could be fake, but you get the picture. They even posted a fake picture of the ievo firmware claiming it was a 3ds card (it wasn't even an original picture, it was taken from the team cyclops website and photoshopped).

as far as i know, maintaining a .com website costs money,as do servers hosting your website. and i dont see any ads on crown3ds.com, accounting that fact. do you really think some jackass, fooling us, would keep that site open for this long? (honest question! not retorical)

yeah thats true ,but have seen how many fake so called 3ds mode flash card sires there are out there? there are like 10 for every major card team, just look, there is supercard ds 3, cyclo 3ds, etc ... noe this may be a smart move too because they have the dns rights, so when and if these card teams do come out with a card, the domains are already taken and one these companies really wants one of the domains they have then they can name their price we know this happens all the time, even with major corporations ,only with the major corporations thy own the governemnt and have had these people ttacked and prosecuted and lobbies to have laws saying that if say target.com site goes back up for sale and you buy it and try and sell it to the, then thay will prosecute and sue you

Eh, that isn't quite how it works. Legitimate businesses have the right to sue under the ICANN regulations to have ownership of a domain name transferred to them if they can show that the domain name meets a few criteria. For example:

-The domain name is so similar to theirs that the casual observer would assume they are for the same company
-The domain name was created to cause market confusion and cause others to buy their product thinking it is the same product of a popular company
-The domain name is identical or almost identical to a company's trademark.

For example, if Nintendo3ds.com were up for sale and someone bought it, opened a Nintendo news website and started offering Nintendo 3ds knockoffs (like the Popstation or something along those lines, or the knockoff wii), Nintendo could sue and have the domain name transferred to them if successful. The same would probably be true with the crown3dscard.net website--except that the company is likely not large enough to start a huge lawsuit against what is probably one or two guys preparing to sell rebranded r4's with a "3ds upgrade in progress" promise that'll never be fulfilled.

Either way, if you find that someone forgot to renew their domain for their company, and you "buy it and try to sell it to [them]," you are doing something called Domain Squatting or Cybersquatting, which is illegal as per the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act.

yeah right thats BS if you dont renew your domain and your a major corporation like pepsi or something and someone else buys it ,not to use but to sell back to you for an exorbitant price then tough titty ,they should have been keeping up with that ish, this rule was lobbied for the big corporations that had it happen to them
