This is totally Wrong....
For AK users - Just follow instruction of Spinal and it should work because AK does not use YSMENU.

So many problems. Hey that's easy.
First thing I use premade ysmenu.

For AK users:
You'll need
ysmenu
You can try last updated AK2YSauto AK2 4.21FW or for AK defective AK2YSauto AK2-4.07a15
DScovery covers
DScovered apps DS & Win

Unzip DScovery covers.
Unzip DScovery apps
Move COVERS folder from "DScovery covers" to DScovery apps
Unzip AK2YSauto.
Download ysmenu form yasu web site. Move is to AK2YSauto folder.
Run ak2.bat. Follow instructions.

Lets prepare SD memory card.
After you premade own ysmenu in zip file, unzip it. Copy all files and folder to the SD root. From YSmenu folder COPY all file to the root. Do not remove them!
From YSmenu folder delete YSmenu.ini ONLY.
If ini file exist in YSmenu folder it will couse that ysmenu loading not rom.
Rename akmenu4.nds to ysmenu.nds
From DScovery folder move d_system folder and akmenu4.nds to the SD root.

Make Whatever dir and copy roms to dir.

Run windows app DScovery with covers.
Point and click letter in left top corner.
On the right chose nds files that will be visible in DS app.
Update card. Wait......
Put SD to AK to DS. Start DS.
Enter settings. Marks ysmenu loader. Done.
Enjoy.

Remember:
Rename akmenu4.nds to ysmenu.nds
Copy all files from ysmenu folder to root
ysmenu.ini has to be in the root
delete ysmenu.ini form ysmenu folder

I know what's your point but as i said i've AK2.1 defective so there is global problem and feature like DScovered is usefull for me.

So what is written in YSMenu.ini? Make sure you have only /YSMenu.ini (if you follow spinal)

Oh yeah, I will move it back to where it should be then test it later, class is close to being over

Moved ysmenu clearing code to loader_ysmenu.nds
Removed soft reset from loader_ysmenu, it had too many issues.
Seperated the settings into extra pages.
Can now have upto 7 loaders.
Added multiple themes.
Change theme format slightly.
Added m3i/real loader.

-= Windows app =-
Added sorting - can now sort by name, location or code.
Files without coveres will in red.

EOS is based on WoodRPG, which lacks autorunWithLastRom. So EOS cannot be used as launcher in the same reason as WoodR4. Very sad!
So only YSMenu(DSTT) can be used as loader!

Well then what about using the old Firmware as a loader? That one is based off of Moonshell if I am correct

o.0 It can run roms...you just have to have one of the flashcarts that supports it (M3, AK, and anything that runs YSMenu correctly).

but when will your firmwares support running games?

Homebrew is all that these menus need to be able to load, the plugin loader system works just fine in DSovered, currently by default it has support for R4DS and clones, TTDS/i and clones, AceKard2/i, m3ds real/izero and any other card that can use ysmenu or akaio.

The update runs just fine, very smooth and I am liking the multiple themes. My only problem with it might just be my microSD card, but my screen flickers sometimes.
Otherwise a really nice update as always.
But I forgot to add, the ysmenu plugin I am using supports soft-rest and works just fine with it as well.
If you want soft-rest, I was able to turn it on with the old ysmenu plugin you provided and going into ysmenu itself, turning on soft-reset that way.

The loading screen of the cart (black screen with the word LOADING in the middle?
What colour is the word 'Loading' on the loading screen?
If it is White then it should be an R4clone, does ysmenu usually work on your card?
If blue/green I would guess AceKard clone, does AKAIO work on your card?

or the loading icon on DSCovered, because that should not hang.
