Hi I am running 20.5.0 AMS 1.95E

I managed to get gta5 installed but fifa 27 does not work I tried with awoo installer
I got gta5 to work on this console but what do i need to do to get fifa 27 to work does the console need to be upgraded or can i use a different installer?

It apparently works on 22.5.0, Atmosphere 1.11.2. I personally use latest Russian version of DBI and so far I haven't run into an issue. Make sure that you have up-to-date sys-patch and the latest keys (generated with Lockpick_RCM).

EDIT: It could be that this game uses zbic compression which latest Atmosphere should support by now. Since you're on Atmosphere, 1.9SE (?), you might be missing the necessary commit. if that is the case, 1.12.0 should be the first official one to support it. bth's fork should work as well (sys-patch can be removed as its functionality is bulit into the Atmosphere).

EDIT: You'll probably need to update your firmware/Atmosphere/hekate as well. I would suggest waiting for Atmosphere 1.12.1 release as it'll have a fix for DNS MITM not working properly on latest 23.0.x firmware.

ah thats a shame i really dont want to upgrade i have seen a lot of people with errors so how does gta5 work then?

ngl my switch is v stable on this frmware bar the occasional error here and there so not sure its worth the hassle to upgrade just to play fifa 27.

GTA V is an unofficial port, the author probably used a much lower firmware to make it work on.

Maybe try fiddling with the Switch Army Knife and see if you can downgrade it? Other than that, not really sure what to say. I'm currently on 22.5.0 and everything works fine on my end. I don't use mods nor too many sys-modules.

what do u mean by switch army knife?

There’s a desktop app called SAK or Switch Army knife, which allows you to remove the min firmware version from a nsp file to get around having later firmware installed. Sometimes it works well sometimes it doesn’t.
yes thanks trying that now
I copied the nsp files to a diff directory

so whats the deal with the prod keys - I took a backup ages ago from the switch I copied that file the bin directory but is that the wrong file what prod.keys file do I need to provide?

I haven't used it personally, I just know that it exists. You'll probably want to have the latest prod.keys. Since you haven't dumped them in a while, they are most likely outdated. They newer they are, the better. However, downgrading sometimes work, sometimes doesn't.

I usually update the Lockpick_RCM with the latest one from THZoria (not sure if I'm allowed to link to it), reboot to hekate, run the Lockpick_RCM payload and dump the keys from my emuMMC which is usually on the lastest supported firmware (I'm still on 22.5.0, waiting for Atmosphere 1.12.1 to come out so that I can update to 23.0.1). You'll need to be on the latest firmware, at least on the emuMMC side, in order to get the latest keys.

Latest Atmosphere (1.12.0) doesn't include the DNS MITM fix for firmware 23.x.x (it will be included in 1.12.1 when it comes out) so make sure you have prodinfo blanked just in case your console is usually connected to the Internet on emuMMC. Having 90DNS or similar set up helps as well.

Again, I'd say that it could be too much of a hassle. Personally, I'd wait for Atmosphere 1.12.1 to come out, update to the latest firmware and install the game normally. SAK sometimes work, sometimes doesn't.
