ROM Hack Could this be a possible workaround to hgss usa problems?

Now that we have a full english version of the game, is it possible to "simply" transcribe the dialogue etc to an english patch for the japanese version? Im not sure how rom hacking works but I am pretty sure that to get the text and such from the usa rom wouldnt require one to actually play the game to get the text because it's in the script. Not sure about terminology but the idea is straightforward enough.

Sure we wouldnt get the graphical parts (like status) in english but at least the majority of the game and story would be.

Ontopic: Yeah, it should be possible, but a patch for the U roms will eventually be released, so just wait some more.
