Hacking Corrupted saves with Contra 4

So I have the 1.63 firmware. Every time I start up Contra 4 on my EZ-V it gives me a corrupted save message, so even though I beat the easy stage last night that save was corrupted. Anyone else having this problem. I'm going to try just deleting the save file and starting with a new clean save, and also try with a non-trimmed ROM, but wanted to know if this was a known issue.

Tried with a fresh save file and a new trimmed rom (using a different trimmer) and I still have problems.

Yeah i also get corrupt saves.It might corrupt if you play a game and then turn your ds off, it autosaves at the beginning of each stage.
