Many thanks for your reply,

I meant that the ability to launch homebrew applications from the same CFG, (perhaps as a filter of homebrew apps and no games)

5pklna.jpg

QUOTEAlso, just to let you know, you can remap the buttons to launch other channels (but not homebrew apps) using the button_* options.
and with respect to remap the buttons, every day surprises me most this amazing application. I have not tried it yet but I will try to do this afternoon to see if I set a button to launch a channel in particular.

Greetings

Note: Still have not tried the configure button, I will, button_ + (and I use very little install option and you can always do in the long way through the menu). But I think it will not work because at that point the buttons seem to have other purposes such as the button 2 is for "Press 2 to reload IOS" I hope I am wrong and can do. Sorry to be a nuisance.

No, you're right at that point it won't work.
And I don't plan in adding any kind of homebew app launcher.
If you want homebrew apps in the gui then use one of the forwarder iso images.
It will show up as in your drawing...

Hey.

I just tried 65b6 and when I choose the 'Show cIOS info', slots 223 and 224 are correctly identified, but not 249 and 250...

IOS223 Base: 38+37 v4 modmii (r4)
IOS224 Base: 57 v5.1 (r65535)
IOS249 Base: ?? (r17)
IOS250 Base: ?? (r65535).

These 2 should be:

IOS249 --> Waninkoko Base 38, r17
IOS250 --> Waninkoko Base 56, r20

What can be wrong?

Best regards

There is no r17 detection in place.
I can add it if someone supplies the hashes for r17 in 249 with different bases.

As for why the 250 b56 r20 is not detected, i don't know, it should work, are you sure it's really r20?
Because if you installed r17 after r20 it will copy itself to 250 anyway.
So maybe you have r17 in both slots?
Can you re-install r20 to 250 and retry?

Yes, I'm sure, because when I installed it, I first removed the 249 copy you mentioned (which I firstly didn't know it was there), and then I installed r20 in 250. Still, I think this was installed through a WAD file and not via Waninkoko installer. Can that make a difference.

What is installed was file 'cIOS250[56]-v20.wad' in here. Maybe that was the issue?

for each base that cios r17 supports:
- install cios (with official installer)
- run cfg65b6
- go to global options
- save debug.log - it will save also ioshash.txt
- open ioshash.txt with wiixplorer or a PC and post the last entry in that file and specify which base was used
done

yes, probably.
it should work with an official or modmii installer.
i won't add any other hashes except from those two.

Aaah, cIOS249 v17 is not added yet?
Here is the official v17 hash:
Code:
# CFG 65b6 Tue Jan 25 14:13:27 2011
IOS249, {0x369047f1, 0x4e37a34f, 0x3cca2936, 0xa60d527b, 0xac141d4a}, r17 Base: 38
and modmii v17b hash:
Code:
# CFG 65b6 Tue Jan 25 14:14:57 2011
IOS249, {0x005b6439, 0xf4a2e0b7, 0xfce05f75, 0xdb1a66ce, 0x7a0811c1}, r17 Base: 38

ok let me know if r17 detection works now, both official and modmii
Official r17 detection works!

Strange thing though:

I added official r20b to slot 250 and r21 to slot 248, and still it shows me:

IOS248 Base: 56 rev21 (r21)
IOS250 Base: 56 rev21 (r65535)

I installed r20b first, so is it possible that when installing r21 it also installed itself to 250? Or is this a bug?

Thanks.

It's a bug, it will also install to 250... You must install r21 first and then r20!
@oggzee:
here is the hash for official r17b:
Code:
# CFG 65b7 Tue Jan 25 14:54:55 2011
IOS249, {0x58ba3f8b, 0x7f8dccd3, 0x8b6c9109, 0x9a736e80, 0xc6c5ea67}, r17 Base: 38

Hello all...
I upgraded CFG V58 to the latest. on both versions the games work great, but when i upgraded via internet from the wii it does not show covers and when i download the covers i get a black screen that has a bunch of errors.. CHECKSUM. Furthermore, i don't use SD card. stricktly loads from USB. i tried upgrading with only 3 games and everything was fine. This problem only happened after i loaded up all my games onto the HDD. I also tried with 3 other hard drives same problem.

thanks for the link but it is pretty much chinease to me, could you write me a short step by step

Thanks
Hi grrkodiak, here it goes:

1. Download ModMii4.4.5B-BETA from the link.
2. Once finished, extract its contents to a folder and run the file "ModMii.exe"
3. Wait for the warning and once the message "Enter Selection Here:" appears type "I Agree" (without the quotes!) and press ENTER.
4. After the update dialog (and the crazy new shit message
laugh.gif
!) type "4" and press ENTER.
5. Here you have all the cIOS combinations you can download, in your case type "249BETA" and press ENTER.
6. Now you need to begin the download process, type "D" and press ENTER... and type "Y" to confirm and again ENTER.
7. Just wait for your download to finish.
8. Finally, check that the results are good (it should said "1 files processed, 1 good files, 0 bad files) and you are done.

Now open your modmii folder and you should have the file COPY_TO_SD\WAD\cIOS249[56]-v21[EHCI-v19].wad
Install it with WAD Manager and you are done!

PS: Althrough there shouldn't be any risk in installing a cIOS ('cause your not touching any system IOS) its always better to have bootmii as boot2 or some kind of brick protection, no one can be resposible for you actions.
