ROM Hack Code Geass Hangyaku no Lelouch

Hello.
Long-time reader, first-time poster here.
I noticed this patch and thought I'd take a look at it. I'm not the best at Japanese (I know a VERY small amount, and many Romanized), and I've never done rom hacking before (although I'd be willing to try) although I am a big Code Geass fan. I suppose there isn't much I can do to help, but I'm good at picking up small faults in translation (I've watched several versions of the subbed anime before). I know I won't be much help, and I understand if this might not be the sort of help you want, but I am willing to help if you want someone who is picky about the translation and quotes.

Also, thanks for working on this game. As I said, I'm a huge Code Geass fan, and what I played of the translation (up to the point where it stopped) I really enjoyed.

hopefully this translation will continue because most of the missions are too hard to follow. I got up to the part where Milly is in the room with Lelouch and his friends when the scene ends I just start walking around and can't find anything. Plus this is one of those games where you need to hear the story even if u already kno it.

I (attempted) to translate the ev003_004.bin file today.

Even though I'm not fluent I hoped I was able to help,
as I had fun while doing it.

I will see if I can try the larger file later.


EDIT:
I did not see the two sentences on the front page.
Here are my attempts:

????? = Villetta
????? = bromide 
Or "publicity photograph of a movie star, entertainer, etc"
I think the second one makes more since, but I would need some context.
?????? = (you) obtained, got.

So I would translate it as "You obtained Villetta's Bromide."

and

????!!???????????????!!
?? = Move
and I assume ????!! is a positive command
(unless they mean ?????, in which it would be a negative command.)
So, either "Move!" or "Don't Move!"
? means to just elongate the sound.

????? = terrorist
(I have no clue what the ? is there for)
???? = obedient, quiet
?????? = Behave

So I would translate it as "Move!! Terrorist, behave!!"


Like I said before, I am not fluent and use WWWJDIC for my dic.

? is a derogatory suffix expressing contempt. The word 'terrorist' already has negative connotations, so you don't really have to add anything to get that across.

That and I was wondering how to translate ??????.
I knew what it meant, like "be obedient to me,"
but I wasn't sure what was going on.

I guess that shows the difference between a fluent speaker
and someone that has 3 semesters.

I'm really looking forward to the next update. I applied the current patch and it looks great. Considering there's like...a 99.9% chance that there won't be an English release, this is our only hope at playing this amazing game in English. I really appreciate everyone's work in translating the game, and I only wish I could help. Unfortunately, I know literally nothing about Japanese.

okay drag the rom(teh game) to the .bat file that you just extracted from the rar/zip file then drop, and your done this apply to almost all patch i have encountered

Ok, I renamed the file to "Code Geass-Hangyaku No Lelouch.nds" and then dragged it onto "patch.bat" and I got the following message:
"xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT
Done!

What should I do?

maybe you got the wrong rom?, try checking if the rom is correct and never been tampered(modified before, mine works)

You said you changed the name? Download the rom again, without changing the name. The name should start with a number. Drag and drop that into it. Works fine for me.

it doesn't have to start with number mine doesn't start with one, and rom file name doens't always start with number anyway

All the roms directly from the scene have no numbers.

For example: ind-adae.nds
