Also, what are you using to edit the script? Did you write a tool or are you just trying to find all the pointers and update them? I spent a bit of time picking apart the format out of curiosity, so I might be interested in writing an inserter.

Not sure why... I don't know a thing about this show, haha.

I'm using a Hex Editor and change the pointer by Had

did some on mdb_char.bin and database it is not much but i hope it helped
only a couple of unstranslated names left

btw are you going to do a gamescript translation?

Did the translations for Rakshata, Diethard, and Toudou. I'm not confident in them but I gave summaries to what the basic translation should be since I'm not good with wording so someone else could reword the summaries to make it sound better. Also filled out the rest of the characters Ages, zodiac sign, and Bloodtype.

i would like to help but i am still learning on how to translate games. translating is a little bit complex though and requires a lot of concentration and patience.

Sometimes you can use 2 byte characters (A = 41) but sometimes you have to use 4 byte characters (? is 8260)

Say i wanted to replace ??? with Yes. or ????Do a hex search for 82CD82A28142 and replace it with either 5965732E (Yes.) or 8278828582938144 (????)
????is too long, unless you use ?e? without the ?which would be prefect, it may be fine here but when translating it will cause a load of problems, sometimes you see menu translations like: AtkPwr, Mna Pot,

OK I tried it and it was WAY to hard for me to understand.
So I gave up because I don't have the time to mess with it.
So you just keep posting them on Google Docs and i'll try my best to translate them.

Also, if you have time, go ahead and rip everything that you can.
I would love to have this game 100% translated.

Finished doing more character translations, from 4 Holy swords to Cornelia. Will finish the rest later during the day.

i added the english text to the ev002_001.bin file and tested it.
it works perfectly fine if you have a savegame, but you can't start a new game anymore
tongue.gif

i know why that happend but i don't really know how i should fix this.
I'll try to find it out, but that cold take a while
