well IceIceBird said it doesn't work with pl3 and both d2x v8 betas.Cave story works with pl3 and d2x v7.
It works but the game freezes when it tries to create the gamedata for the first time.well IceIceBird said it doesn't work with pl3 and both d2x v8 betas.Cave story works with pl3 and d2x v7.
Ok then I'm going to close the bug. Prolly mighty channels does something wrong like misalignment or cache issue. It works but the game freezes when it tries to create the gamedata for the first time.well IceIceBird said it doesn't work with pl3 and both d2x v8 betas.Cave story works with pl3 and d2x v7.
Will try GX later today when i have time to see the result there also..
Update: Works with latest GX (and with mighty channels/postloader after the the gamedata been created), strange.

Cache issues are subtle because they tend to have random behavior.postLoader: tested now on a clean nand dump (bootmii dump) with d2x v8 beta r41, 249 base 56, and works perfectly.... savegame created without problem.
Davebaol is lazy See here:So you aren't going to update this topic?
Where can i get the latest stable release?
You need to learn how to post a SysCheck properly, because it is really hard to read. Please repost it using the guide in my signature. Since you have already created one, you can skip to "Posting your SysCheck"@[member='davebaol'] - XFlak has sent me your way... I'm in need of some help
Have run ModMii, no issues. Plug in my Verbatim 320gb hdd & using USBloader cfg (or any other loader) can sometime see my hdd, loaded a couple of games on to it - one loads then crashes after a couple of mins - the other won't go beyond the loading screen. Have tried cIOS249 d2x v7 base 58 no better so tried d2x v8 beta with base IOS58 - still getting same results. Have also tried Configurable USB Loader using IOS223-mload (been through them all)
hdd is on the compatibility list as working. Am I missing something in front of my face ...or is my Wii a proper doorstop?

Have tried a Sandisk cruzer micro 16gb stick .. same results - can find the drive sometimes, loads game & crashes ....then tried a 500gb WD elements 3.5hdd .... wouldn't even find this drive??try a different hdd or even a pen drive with few games.
No had it a few years now, just decided to mod recentlyOut of curiosity, is it a new Wii? I had nothing but headaches regarding modding a new wii without the GC ports. Seemed like sometimes it would see the HDD, and other times it wouldn't.
You *might* have a dodgy USB port? Wouldn't be the first time.
