I've got a few .wads that I've been assuming are properly dumped and not NTSC-PAL/RF conversions. Is there a way, just on a PC, to check the region or game code (the four-letter one, found in this column here)?

Use Wiizle Diizle Shiizle 1.3, it will tell you the original region and if it's been changed. There is a thread about the program somewhere in this forum.

Looks like that's what I need. The other thread on the forums here had two download links, a broken MegaUpload and a broken domain. Anyone got a better download location? I can only find 1.2 on google.

    I've owned both iPhone and Androids over the years. Both are just as good, other than Apples higher price. I'm currently on Android, Samsung S21 I think, and very happy with it.
