How do I do that? I've installed A9LH and both emunand9 & decrypt9 work when the appropriate buttons are pressed on boot. But I want to check if AuReiNand works aswell
Depends on if you swapped emunand with sysnand already. I cant tell you if you need to unlink the two NANDs without knowing what steps you've done already. Did you create emunand from sysnand recently without using tinyformat to unlink? If so then yes need to use tiny format to unlink the two NANDs.Ok, now that I know i'm in aureinand, what do I do? Am I in emunand? Do I have to unlink?
I have a clean emunand (so I just created one with emunand9 after installing aureinand). When I go into system settings after AuReiNand boots up, it should say GW before the version right? One easy way to check if they're linked is to add a folder in emunand and see if it shows up in sysnand. Or arrange the icons differently, etc.
Aureinand doesn't modify the version string. If you installed aureinand's arm9loader.bin into the root of your sdcard, then it should be bootint directly into emunand by default. You can confirm by holding select on boot and see if aureinand config shows up. (3.12 aureinand and above)I have a clean emunand (so I just created one with emunand9 after installing aureinand). Dont swap if you havent yet. Figure out your problem first. That db error looks like because you didnt launch eshop to initialize db. Try doing that first. It doesnt have to go into eshop, just launch it and refuse to update if prompted.I tried installing a homebrew cia (https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-jks-savemanager-homebrew-cia-save-manager.413143/) but FBI throws this error:
Database does not exist (0x2b)

Right, at this point i'm fairly certain i've followed my tutorial incorrectly

yup, installed fine now.Dont swap if you havent yet. Figure out your problem first. That db error looks like because you didnt launch eshop to initialize db. Try doing that first. It doesnt have to go into eshop, just launch it and refuse to update if prompted.
Good, now figureout if the nands are linked and use tinyformat on one of them to unlink. (if you have nnid setup already you probably want to run tinyformat on sysnand). And then proceed to update emunand to latest 10.7 and enjoy using it. I wouldn't swap sysnand with emunand right away until you understand what that means and the pro and cons.yup, installed fine now.
My tutorial told me to turn on "Updated Sysnand Mode" but according to the AuReiNand official post:Good, now figureout if the nands are linked and use tinyformat on one of them to unlink. Does this mean I can delete emunand without harm? I only have a 4gb sd card so getting rid of emunand to free up 1gb would be great- For this, you need AL9H (it has no effect otherwise). You can toggle it in the configuration menu.
- Normally sysNAND is autobooted.
- If you hold L on boot, emuNAND will be booted with the 9.0 FIRM (firmware90.bin) so you can use exploits (you need to create a 9.0/9.2 emuNAND for this!). Please note that you can't have two 9.0 emuNANDs, and that the 9.0 emuNAND must be the first (or the only) one.
- If you hold R on boot, emuNAND will be booted with the firmware.bin on the SD card. Also holding B boots the second emuNAND (if present). This has no effect if you only have one emuNAND.
If that is what you want, yes turn on updated sysnand mode. You should however take a backup of 9.2 emunand after you swap the two and store it somewhere safe for when you need to run something using 9.0 firm.My tutorial told me to turn on "Updated Sysnand Mode" but according to the AuReiNand official post:
