Cemu 1.15.19 released

It's time once again for a brand new Cemu update! The newly released version of the popular Wii U emulator, 1.15.19 to be precise, introduces some rather interesting account management-related features. Accounts behave very much like on a real Wii U, and that means they will each have separate save files for every game: a feature that can prove to be useful if you wish to have multiple saves in a game that doesn't provide different slots or if you share your computer with other people. A new tab has been added to the emulator's "General settings" window where you can create, edit, delete and switch between different accounts, however, if you think getting into the settings every time to change the active user profile is tedious, a sub-menu that lets you do just that in a much quicker way has also been added in the "Options" menu. On a last note, this system is compatible with accounts created on a physical Wii U console too, so you can also dump and use them in Cemu if you wish to do so!

As usual, a couple of minor bug fixes have been included as well. You can read more about them in the official changelog:
Official changelog said:
# Cemu detailed changelog for 1.15.19
# Patreon release date: 2019-11-15
# Public release date: 2019-11-22

general: Added account management
- You can create and delete accounts in the general settings
- The currently selected account can be changed in the settings or via a shortcut in the menu
- Each account has separate save files
- Compatible with accounts dumped from a Wii U

general: Game list entries can now be renamed (#208)
general: Fixed a bug where game list entries would not be remembered if Cemu was closed right after refreshing the list

RPL: Fixed a rare memory corruption that could lead to crashes when any game was launched

Note:
(#xx) refers to bug tracker issues resolved by this change. See http://bugs.cemu.info/projects/cemu/

Cemu v1.15.19 can be downloaded by going to its official website (linked below) or, if you are already running version 1.15.10 or later, by using its included auto-updater.

As I said after the last release: Want that vulkan update? Make a small donation. Otherwise stop whining about an otherwise free product that is absolutely amazing.

Make a small donation? :rofl2: They already make far more money than any other emulator dev team out there. Stifle, child. Though, the dollar amount is much smaller than it used to be. They still get it monthly.

Well, if you've donated, You'd see they have a Vulkan WIP release since a week ago...

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
