Hacking Cant seem to get emunand from hekate

Im trying to set up emuNand so I dont run risk of getting banned. I have set up my 128GB sd card with a second partition of FAT32. When I try can do the emummc through hakate it doesnt seem to back it up as the resulting folder that is made in the main partition is only 108 bytes.

Is there something I am doing wrong here?

Use mini tool partition wizard

Make a partition with remaining partition 30.0gb

Load Nyx - Kate and create emmuMMC

Set emmUMMC

Setup your autoboot options if youd like and thats is

That's not required. Hekate does that all by itself.

Nyx is the new ui from hekate and already built-in

How should I format my sd card? Have just one partition or have two?

One is enough. Use guiformat and format it with fat32 and 64k cluster size.

since file based emunand is slow AF? and since partition based emunand always needed its own partition as it is hinted in its own name?

or do you meant that now hekate do the dual partitionning by itself?
because in my case with last hekate available it asked me to choose in wich raw partition instal it

I've never heard that you need a second partition for emunand.

when you make an emuMMC you need to have the emuMMC's partition already created on the SD card. you wil lalso need the Fat32 partition for all other files. from my testing, the smallest allowed is a 29836 MB Parition.

Been running a few test:
Emunand partition in fat32
Other partition in exfart
So far no corruptions

Thats the guide I been watching. I followed what he did and the emuMMC dident do the emunand right as every time I been trying it the folder appears in the main partition with 108 bytes large.


This came across my mind. Do I need a 100% clean switch for this to work right? As on my switch right now I got save files and few games. Would I need to do a factory reset?

Is it supose to be that big? The 2nd partition has nothing inside of it.

When I try to launch CFW I just get a black screen.

When I go to create emuMMC it says Found applicable partition: [Part 1]! is it suppose to say that?
