Hacking Can't play games from 2010+ on my R4 card

Hello, i own a nds lite and i'm using a R4 card to play my roms alongside a 2gb Micro SD card, i can play basically every game that hasnt been "revised" before the 2010s (as indicated by the note below the game's icon that states it's final revisal, example: "FINAL REVISAL: 07-01-2010"), and when i do try to play a game that has been revised after 2010 both of the screens turn white, top and bottom. Does that mean the roms are faulty? or is my r4 card faulty? If needed, the faulty games are: Pokemon Black/white(Final revise: 03-02-2011); super star kartz(final revise: 11-17-2011); taiko no tatsujin DS dororon(FR: 07-01-2010); MySims racing(FR:03-25-2021); Mondai no nihongo(FR: 03-25-2021). The latter ones are showing the day i downloaded them.

I couldnt find much information about the r4 card i'm using, so i'm just gonna describe it here: It's black, slim, all the front says is R4, Revolution for DS (NDSI, NDS). No website whatsover, and i probably own it since 2007-2010, but it works really well to this day and the only problem i've ever had with it is this one that i'm asking for assistance.

All your mentioned Games are working on the DS Lite.




This is the Flashcard I use with the YSMenu on it (no R4 Menu !).




So it can be,that your ROMS are maybe "faulty".
But also your Flashcard.

You can also try to use the YSMenu.

Sorry, but i don't see any download link to the YSMENU you talked about on that thread... thing's just full of tech jargon to me... i dont even know what model my r4 card is, so that thread you linked is a little bit troubling to me, but i'll try to find my way around it. thanks anyway!

Copy the files on the sd to the computer (as a backup) and try the wood kernel for the original r4

you mean as in R4 DS KERNEL V1.18 or the latest(Wood R4 V1.62)?

This thread is about to get the attention required -at least-, clearly you didin't have read the rules beforehand.

I had a similar problem with Okamiden, the US version would boot and show the title screen but after that it would just show a white screen. I tried the PAL version and it worked fine, so I guess you could try that. Also make sure that your SD card works correctly, as they can corrupt files when they go bad. And lastly, the kernel you use doesn't make much of a difference, at least from my experience, but I would still advice to install YSmenu in case your flashcart has a timebomb.
