Hacking Can't play a certain game with EDGE

Does it work every single time? I can only get it working about 10% of the time. It's annoying.

it works the first few times

if it doesn't work delete the SAV file then open it again

i recommend just doing the first bit of the game

after trhat u don't need to bother with new game so it don't freeze
(but don't deactivate code!!!)

The thing is that I'm already about 2 hrs in game but the code is kind of on and off. Most of the time it doesn't work.

I've not started the game i just used it and when to new game and click on file one and it started.

I've not started a games so I'm not aware of the code working or not working.

AT LEAST IT DOES WORK SOMETIMES!!!!
I FEEL SORRY FOR R4 ETC. CARD USERS THAT IT DOESN'T WORK!!!

i have original rom, 1.5 firmware, and that cheat, but it always get me stuck on the save selection screen

im sure my cheat is activated too

wat i did was

backup everything on my sd to my computer

use panasonic sd formatter

format to fat32

download fresh FW from edge website

put on moon shell, firmware etc...

replace the cheat file!!!

copy ur savs and games ( make sure u don't copy over mario and luigi 3 or it's save)

download a clean rom and put in the SD (make sure there is NO SAV file for mario & luigi 3)

put in edge card and....

DONE!!!!!!

then u have successfully punched nintendo's stupid anti - piracy LOCK in there face!!!

good luck cos this is excalty what i did and it worked for me!!!

Did you enable cheats, boot the DS, go to the 3rd Icon on the right, in the menu there should be enable cheats, once that is done, go back to your game, then start the game and it should ask you what cheats you want to activate. Activate the cheat.

This cheat code is not final therefore it will freeze after saving once in awhile, just reboot and start again from that save. Just have to wait a couple months till the next Edge Firmware release to fix it or if someone makes a patch.

i'm using it now!!!!

i'm really stumped.

i just replaced the cheats and deleted my SAV file.

i opened the edge went to the game

clicked enble cheats

clicked on lanch game ( the sqaure is now filled in)

pressed start

click new game

BAM!!!
i could move the hand (i'm not sure if touch screen works)

click new game and then toad ran across the screen then when in to his house
then started to talk to his mum

blah blah blah!!!!

works now BUT, i get a black screen right after saving luigi from the ceiling
can someone give me a sav right after it??

yeah there is no new fix for it (at least what i have seen)

i get that black screen aswell

ur game is really save so u need to switch on and off ur ds and go back to
mario and luigi 3 then ur save should be there!!!
