Homebrew Can't ingame save on soulsilver

Can someone help? Everytime i try to ingame save, desmume just freezes up. I'm not playing from its original file and its already been patched with Rudolph's patch. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

yeah thats what i've been doing up until now, but the game freezes at the boss battle with team rocket, so i need to transfer the save file to no$gba...
i also need a save file for after elite four too

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
