I know on my iphone it doesn't work, I know the intro is glitchy on most emulators that aren't pc or a ds or gba. It even freezes on the wii.
I recommended either finding a save that skips the intro, or trying to find another backup that works, you'll have to do this on your own however as posting links to rom's is a ban

thanks for the quick replies!

Hmm, I guess I can try getting a game save that skips the intro, but are there any known patches for this? I tried a few google searches but nothing came up

The only way to pass it is to do a...Whats it called again? Create a game state or something. When the intro frezzes you have to create a save state. Then load the game/save state, and it'll work just fine.

Hey guys I'm trying to play SNES roms but there's no sound. I'm playing them on my Gameboy Advance. I just don't see what the problem could be.

Hm....Did you try the Savestate method talked about above? What SNES rom are you trying to play? What year was the GBA manufactured? What color is it? What are you using to boot the SNES game? Where did you buy it? When did you buy it? Who manufactured it?

soo I can't seem to find a save state anywhere on the web :/ how can I create one? :s
try a gba emu see find a save point and see if it works, or you can do a save state on said gba emu and transfer that.

on my psp, you need to create a save state just when it starts freezing and then load the savestate.. or another way is to create a .SAV right after the intro by playing it first on the gba emulator on the PC.
but beware that after you finish the game there will be another cutscene and it will freeze again.. if you fail to create a savestate there, you will not be able to unlock reverse/rebirth and you need to defeat the boss again..

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
