Can't access Windows partition after increasing it with Ubuntu

Ok so last night I was increasing the size of my windows partition on my HDD through an Ubuntu Live CD using gParted but when I was doing that I was tired and I forgot to plug in my laptop and I fell asleep and when I woke up the battery had died before it had completed and I can no longer access my Windows partition! I have no idea what to do. I have already tried to put in a repair disc and chooses startup repair but it did nothing.

ALL of my files are on that partition, Music, Pics, Videos, School Work. Please Help!

You fried it. Explore your partition through Ubuntu and recover what's left

Will I still be able to reinstall windows on the partition it keeps saying something bad about $MFT????

You'll always be able to delete the partition and make a new one with gparted, that's no concern.

The concern is backing up the current files on it so they're not lost.

Can you access it through linux?

Try checking the disk with Gparted, then try again.

OMG Guys the most amazing thing happened.

Ok so not to long before the partition pooped out on me I had made an Image of it, so I just reinstalled Windows to the partition -fresh install- booted up the Windows 7 recovery disc that I got and selected the image and BAM! all my stuff back everything not a single thing missing I was so excited!!!

You should be able to recover a corrupted partition with a tool such as "acronis disk director"
