You can't downgrade a 2DS. There is certain compatibility issues with older fws that never existed on the 2DS. Namely the issue of the wifi module. The 2DS lacks a physical wifi toggle switch. Instead there is a software based one accessed from home menu. I don't think older FWs had this so you would run into trouble with this if you downgrade a 2DS. There's a reason Gateway didn't allow 2DS downgrading. I suggest you give up on it. :P

Wait your not trying to downgrade to 4.x? If you are trying to downgrade to a fw the 2DS has been on before, that's possible. You just make a backup of your current NAND using the gateway menu. Then go back to it when you need to. That isn't any different from a normal 3DS. :P

By the way you don't need a gateway to use their system nand backup/restore tool. (To restore a nand backup, you hold D-Pad up while entering the downgrade menu)

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
