Hacking Can`t install nsp after switching from sxos to atmosphere.

I recently decided to move from sxox to atmosphere, I formated my sd to fat32, erased all the games I had in my switch because none of them could be played since the switch said they were corrupted. I downloaded awoo installer and tried installing a nsp but I get the error message that applet mode is not supported, that I need to press R on a game to access something. problem is, There is nothing installled on the switch. What can I do?

Atmosphere uses signature patches, if you load with Hekate you need Fss0/Hekate patches, if you load with Fusee-Primary you need fusee patches.

I downloaded deepsea-normal_v2.1.0 which has the patches and used the payload that comes with it, named hekate_ctcaer_5.5.4, using tegra. I need to download something else?

Problem is deepsea doesn't include the FS, ES, and loader patches you need, also you don't need deepsea, you can learn to chain load vanilla atmosphere and where to put your patches.

Hekate/Fss0 patches are on TotalJustice page if you want to stick with Fss0 build, keep in mind you can't run Tinfoil shop with Fss0/Hekate.

Thank you. I followed your recommendations and it instaled the game. But when I tried to play it I got an error that said unable to start software :c

Make sure FS and loader patches go inside atmosphere/kip_patches and and ES patches go under atmosphere/exefs_patches

I downloaded the patches you recomended and those patches came in those folders, I did not move them. I'm installing another game to see if it works or if it gives me the same error.

like I said you need the patches to do homebrew and to run pirated games.

Ok, so, I installed another game (monster hunter rise) and that game works, the other game was an .NSZ could that be the problem?

Just stick with NSP, as NSZ isn't an official format, it only compress file when stored on computer, make no different when installed, depend on your installer, they might now support NSZ. Just less headaches.
