Hacking Can I use vWii homebrew to edit saves of my wii games?

Title. Also, would this work with wii games downloaded from the eShop or just actual disks.

I feel it would be safer to transfer the saves from the vWii NAND to the SD card using Data Management, edit them on the SD card, and transfer back.

What about games like SSBB that I can't copy. Thanks for the advice though, I'll use that for my other games!
