Hacking can i revert to the original firmware of acekard from akaio

so i have a acekard 2i that was akaio on it , so can i revert to the orignal firmware and run the original acekard firmware??
if so how...im new at this sorry

well back up your saves first
then format your microsd then install the firmware like you did when you got it
then copy roms and saves to your card

Yes you can, just back up your files, format and extract the contents of the official archive which you can download from here.

I'm i'm remembering correctly, you may have to rename all your saves from *.sav to *.nds.sav

Question is why would you want to?

so in practice i can just copy that folder where i have my games and copy them back when i have formated the micro sd card, before placing the original firmware.
to answer your question about why im trying to do this is cause i want to back up my original nds games to my acekard using the tutorial but i cant get it to work so i think it might be the akaio

All you have to do is go to your MicroSD card, rename akmenu4.nds to akaio.nds
Extract the contents of the official software to the MicroSD card. Once you've dumped your games, delete akmenu4.nds and the __AK2 folder, then rename akaio.nds back to akmenu4.nds

Otherwise you can just try using the official loader as in this post http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=218103#ak2loader

It's easier to just download a predumped rom, unless you are wanting to transfer saves.

If you just want to transfer the saves and are having no luck with the duimping tool, try savsender instead which you can download from
