Hardware Can I make a NAND backup of my Wii without the disk drive?

Any way to hack a 1.0U wii?

I was able to get 1.0U on my real, PAL wii. It only has the disc channel and i forgot to get the HBC, i tried letterbomb and nothing happened.

I've removed it and I want to make a NAND backup with Bootmii however I'm not sure if this is possible. Right now, it's late, and I do not feel like testing. Would the NAND backup be OK (uncorrupted, I mean)?

NVM. Just reattached the drive's circuit board. It's all good now.
