I tried using configurable USB loader, but the same thing happens. I tried two other games but it still doesn't work. It's getting bothersome to have to unplug the Wiiu then go to wii mode again, it takes so long . the installing settings seem fine, i just can't find the problem.

The WiiU doesn't provide a lot of power from USB ports.
Maybe you need a Y-cable to connect your flashdrive to WiiU, instead of plugging it directly to the console.

Users with an external hard drives have the same problem, it require either a USB Y-cable, or an external power source.

it means you tested it and it didn't work?
try another flash drive or hard drive.

The Wii provides more power (in Watts, or milliampere) to USB ports than the WiiU.
A single WiiU's USB Port can't be used to self-power external hard drives.
If you are connecting a hard drive to the WiiU USB port, it requires an additional power source (both USB ports or external power).

So...I've been wondering this for awhile: Do USB HDD's have problems being used as Nintendo intended on the Wii U as well? It just strikes me as odd that, when Nintendo adds official USB HDD support, they redesign the USB ports in a way such that they can no longer provide sufficient power for such things.

Yes, intended use (WiiU-formated drives) also requires additional/external power source.

8. What external USB storage devices can be used with Wii U?
  • What external USB storage devices can be used with Wii U? To ensure maximum performance between your Wii U and an external storage device, we recommend using a hard-disc drive (HDD) with a dedicated power source (i.e., using an A/C adapter). Due to the wide range of external hard drives, usability and performance will vary. For more information on external USB storage devices that can be used with Wii U, click here.
12. Can bus-powered hard disc drives be used with Wii U?
  • Some bus-powered hard disc drives draw more current than the USB 2.0 specification and might not run stably, so we cannot guarantee that such devices will run properly on Wii U without the use of a supplemental power cable called a y-cable that draws power from two USB ports. For best results, we recommend using a hard drive with its own power supply that connects to the Wii U system via the USB port on the console.

Is there anyway to take my wii games and put it on the computer? I would use my wii but its long gone.
Easiest way is to dump them with a Wii, or possibly Wii U (do not know if that works, I have no idea about Wii U specific possible limitations/compatibility issues). To dump them with a PC you need a drive that can read Wii discs, and there are only 1 or 2 DVD drives that are known to do this.

you can dump the games with USBLoaderGX, or any other USBLoader or dedicated homebrew on WiiU.
The game is saved either in wbfs format (compressed) or in 1:1 ISO format (uncompressed, unedited).

Then you can transfer these files by connecting your drive to your computer.

another question, is there a difference between scrubbing a wii iso with wii scrubber and converting an iso to wbfs?

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in

    it's dumb

    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
