Hello

I have been reading some topics and I can't find a definite answer.

I currently have a pro duo dual slot adapter with 2 32gb memory cards but it can only read one slot at a time.
I will change the memory slots from 1 to 2 but overall it is breaking the card.

If I put a 64gb sdhc memory card in it, will it work?
Or is there a way to fuse both memory cards to be a 64gb or have it so my psp can read from slot 2 as using the select menu function doesn't seem to do anything.

Sounds like your adapter is broken. I have a 64GB in mine and it's working fine.

It still reads the 32gb memory card but it doesn't seem to read both of them to combine into a 64gb as there is a 2nd slot on that adapter. Well the adapter has cracked but it seems faulty anyway.

Does anyone have a suggestion if I am using the right adapter and if I can put in a memory card bigger then 32gb like a 64gb memory card?

I myself am using the PhotoFast CR5400 adapter in my PSP systems:

https://www.amazon.com/MicroSD-Memory-adapter-microSD-microSDHC/dp/B004GXKI04/

One thing to note is that you have to insert both microSD cards into the adapter and then proceed to format it using the "Format Memory Stick" option in the PSP System settings for it to combine both SD cards into one combined storage (e.g. two 32Gb SD Cards will show up as one 64Gb storage device).

The SD Cards can't be used individually anymore until you format them using regular means again and swapping the SD cards inside the adapter also causes the data on the cards to not be recognized anymore, so If you're going with one of those adapters I recommend leaving it inside the PSP once set up and transfer data over to the PSP using a usb cable connected to the PSP.

Can I stick a 64gb card instead or plug in a 128gb.

I have the exact adapter but it seems I would need to format it again which is a hassle. I might as well stick one sd card in it lime a 64gb or 128gb if that is possible for mine?
I don't believe mine is broke. It is cracked a bit but it does work.

Yeah, you can use it with a single card as well. I think you will still need to format it from within the psp. As for the plastic cracking: yeah. Happened to both of my cards, too. One more reason to keep them inside of the psp and not taking them out.

Ps: I think the OFW might not be able to recognize cards larger than 64Gb. But CFW certainly is able to recognize 128Gb cards.

The thing is I never hacked my psp orignally. I got. 2nd hand microsd with an adapter which had this data so I copied and pasted it and played it on the psp. How can I tell if I have a cfw or ofw?

By checking your system information in the settings menu. Ofw will be something like "6.61", CFW will have stuff added to the version. Like "6.61 Pro C3"

Hi All,
I hold a PSP 1000 from 2003, CFW 3.51 M33. Anyhting is fine with it but i'm not able to let her read card over 32gb. I bought all the suggested adapters in this conversation. The memory card perfectly works on both mac or win based machines using fat32 file system but when inserted into the psp and try to format it, i receive a the "no memory stick" message. Could it be anything firmware related? could an upgrade fix it?
Thanks a million for any guidance.

3.51 m33 is ancient, maybe that firmware doesn't allow for memory cards larger than 32Gb. Maybe look into updating to a later firmware (6.61 infinity should be a cold boot cfw)

I proceeded with Infinity. Once running, it shows the error message "could not disable kernel whitelist (ffffffff)".
I tried to set the kernel from 3.51 to 1.50 and re-launch infinity but, after few seconds nothing happened and the psp went on black screen. Rebooting, black screen again. Re-set kernel to 3.51 and i got it recovered.
Dunno what to do...

Sounds like you're trying to run infinity from your 3.51 CFW. You need to update to
6.61 OFW first, then launch the infinity installer. Once infinity is installed, you need to either install 6.61 PRO C2 or 6.61 LME CFW (whichever you like better)

Once both is installed, you can the re-launch the infinity installer, go to the menu on the left and select whichever CFW you installed as your cold boot firmware.

you can technically have a triple boot. I have mine setup to boot ofw (forgot the button combo though), pro, and l(me). I'm 6.60 though, just use the version.txt to spoof it to 6.61:
