Byuu's Emulator Higan is over clocking its self, why?

Why does it run super fast like the frame rates are off the charts regardless of what version I am using?

I am using higan the latest 0.94 or what ever it is lol.

go into the options, see if sync to audio is enabled, usually helps

It fixed its self lol, I just assumed that was cool and super weird lol but thank you
