You know, stuff like "B A ? A C ? ? A" (BARACUDA) from Sonic 3D Blast.
When's the last time you saw them, not counting FPS games?
No, I'm not counting the konami code's variations for nostalgia.

Last time I saw one was for a PS2 game, Mr. Mosquito. It unlocked a little minigame, though, not cheats.

I guess because with modern debuggers and development environments the developers don't need built-in codes to jump to specific levels in order to test them?

I guess with modern controllers it'd look more like instructions for a fighting game anyways.

thanks to the internet achievements and trophies in game button cheats will remain part of the game history and are hardly ever used.

I used them most in the days of Spyro: Season of Ice/Flame and other games I played then.

Nostalgia.

Now I'm used to using the developer's console in games like Garry's Mod and such (though I have used it before in other games that had a console, like Star Trek: Voyager: Elite Force).

Just trying to think if there were any DS games I used them on.
