Hacking Bought 3.21 ps3

Just bought a 3.21 ps3 from a car boot for £10 looking to turn this into a cfw machine but I've been out of the whole ps3 hacking scene for a while.

I've updated to 3.55 ofw and want to all the way to 4.70 cfw but I don't know how to go about doing this and what's the best cfw to use?

There's a few options avaliable. Bleeding Edge releases (minimal testing, may be buggy) include DARKNET, FERROX, PS3ITA. These usually only have protections disabled but don't have COBRA patches applied.
There are stable firmwares like HABIB and Rogero who may include more features like WebMAN integration and COBRA support.
Then there are feature rich and well tested firmware like Rebug with CEX/DEX swapping, COBRA, WebMAN integration, Debug features, etc etc
