Hi i recently got the itch to play some ps2 metal gear online. I have both a phat and a slim ps2, wanted to use the phat with a 500gb hdd, but cant seem to get the hdd to work. The drive works on pc and i think it is the network adapter being old and dusty. I tried blowing it out along with the ps2. Still no luck.
So brings me to my ps3 slim that i can play ps2 ISOs on. I belive i can run swapmagic v3.1 and then run ulaunchelf, to then load the metal gear online cheat file .elf and then load my mgs3 disc 2 iso off usb.
But it has been a while and i forget the way to rename and make files to get the boot process correct and not get stuck in a endless boot loop.
Anyone here already try this and confirm it works?
