I just added a new one to the list.
But I can't be sure for the Boot2 version, as the console is already updated to 4.2E (so boot2 is now at V4, but I don't know the original Boot2 version)

Added another incompatible one, but can't be sure of the boot2 version. I updated it from 4.1 to 4.2 before checking, whoops. :/

Someone put "lu63340065" in the web form and put it with boot1a and boot2v2 and that it is compatible. This is absolutely not possible. Please review this and let me know the correction.
My friend has an LU66 that can run bootmii...so it IS possible, but extremely rare. He bought it used in mid-2009. It's the only LU64+ i've personally seen that can run bootmii.

Boot1a seems unlikely on your suspicious entry. My wii was bought 3 months after launch and has 1b.

The only way I can see for a LU64+ wii to support bootmii's boot2 is if the case was taken from another wii (or the wii mainboard was stolen from another wii). The LU64+ range was different because the hardware inside was actually different (which is why you can't downgrade a LU64+ to an older system menu version). I bet if you pull open his wii, you will notice that it has been tampered with in some way. Longtom1 reminded me of this, which is why I put "If your Wii was not purchased new from a store or if it has been sent to Nintendo to be repaired, please note this as the "motherboard" inside the Wii could have been changed, which would give us bad data." in the opening post.

The main reason why I didn't believe that entry though was the boot1a, since they were rare even in launch wiis.
Yeah that's probably it right there. The most likely reason for this is a swapped case. If some dude decided to do a "retail swap", it could actually be possible to buy a new Wii in store with the insides already tampered with.

LEH2048* (that's my main Wii, recieved in oct 2008, a birthday present)
LEH2037* (that's my test Wii with barely anything on it, got second hand)
I would check boot1 and boot2 versions now, but the TV's being used.

These are both compatible with BootMii/boot2, and both have it installed as both boot2 and IOS.

I just posted all my info using the form, but forgot to mention the boot1 version is 1b. I also listed my boot2 info as boot 2v4 but this is because i updated my wii, i have no idea what it was originally.

Let me revive this thread since I noticed it might just prove quite useful.

LU50025/Boot1a/Boot2v2/Dec 3, 2006

*it has been added to the worksheet*

On a side note: just noticed another LU64+ on the list that supposedly has boot1a...

Thanks for all of the input guys! I thought this thread had died until I got a PM from someone today that thought the information was very useful.

Lets see if we can go another round!
