So it annoyed me that for the people with either a Wii v2 (family edition) or a v3 (Mini) can't really do anything with bootmii restore. So I came up with an idea, what if there was a way to do it without the GameCube controller and the ports. So then it's for the ones that lack it. It would probably need to be built from the ground back up again. If not then that would be good. I'm not going to lie, I did have AI help me foolproof it. And yes. I know that the team did it to make it 100% safe.
If it's possible: I was thinking of a codename of
Revolution_FV2 (For Version 2) the official name can be Bootmii: family edition. For the safety. It will have a randomized combo from buttons Power, reset, and eject (Power, eject, and sync for mini) for the UI, I was thinking a Wii U type of vibe to let the person know, this is the V2 version. For the nand check, it will do the same as the original. The randomized combo will do a secret check per button click eg: the first will check if the file is there with the keys, second will check if it matches the Wii, third would be whatever is next. for the "fact the Wii lacks a Boot2 chip. It will store itself in the Wiis RAM. So when its writing the IOS, it can continue on. For the fact it overwrites itself, it will skip that part and if it's mandatory, the it will load into the Wii ram and replace, and reboot. Before the reboot it should place a temporary redirect file to from the NAND to boot into the special section of the SD card where it has where it left off. If something goes wrong, it will reboot and take off where the file, (stores how many blocks are completed and how many aren't.) for the Letting the user know. It would play the same sounds used in brawl when deleting a save file in the same pattern (if the sound chip is loaded or something) that can act as a verification that it is working with the Scarlet ARM chip. When it completes. It does a ring (any ring). This is just an idea. If there are any mistakes, let me know.
