Just hacked my brothers N3DS, FW 10.1. I was interested on adding an SNES emulator on there.
What are the pros (cons, if any) of using the CIA file?

Also, I'm assuming I'll need 9.2 or below to be able to use this, correct?

Thanks :)

It's pretty much a bleeding edge build. It has some improvements, but it will probably have unexpected bugs galore, so don't expect it to be stable or for any issues it has to be directly addressed. If you want something relatively stable and the issues documented, I'd stick to the official builds from 4dsdev site.

If you have an N3DS, RetroArch has SNES emulators that are much more compatible than blargSNES that you can run. blargSNES is pretty much the only fullspeed option for those using original 3DS models (O3DS/O3DS XL/2DS)

I still prefer this on my n3ds over retroarch just because of how clean it looks. No unnecessary option bloating.

Just FYI, if you don't uninstall the official 1.3 CIA then this CIA will give an error during install.

No sense making another thread for this. So news time, no apparent progress has been made on this since the OP. This is as far as I know still the most recent build of BlargSnes that fixes issues with a few game (and inadvertently possibly causing issues with others).

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
