I've been in the mood lately for some serious retro gaming (NES, SNES, GBA, GBC, etc...).

I ALMOST bought a GBA SP today but decided to wait because I know there are ways to enjoy all those games on different devices. Here's what I have: DS Lite (with CycloDS cart), 3DS (Do they make carts for this yet like CycloDS?), and a PSP Slim with CFW.

I would love to be able to play all those older systems on any one of my current devices but I don't' know which one is best or how. It might be me but the PSP seems kind of sluggish on certain emulation (or I'm doing it wrong). I would really like to emulate all these on a single device so I don't have to carry them all around. I might just go ahead and get the GBA SP anyway for nostalgia purposes.

Really looking forward to playing all the zeldas, earthbound, golden sun, ff, etc... on a single device. Any suggestions? Thank you!

everything you said except for Golden Sun will work fine on PSP. Check the Emulator Sticky in the PSP section of the forum.

If you don't want to spend big penny on a PSP and you're only interested in emulation... well then there's Dingoo.

It's Indier than Thou, and has Linux too!
gg, way to read the OP.

He wanted to know the best way, and the best way doesn't involve his devices.

GG, way to interpret meaning.

Downloading emulators cost now?
Wise guy, huh?

I answered his question. Whether I read his post in its entirety or not is irrelevant - he wanted to play certain games from certain systems all on one device, preferably fluid. I offered my advice. Then you roll in and start yappin' like it's 4th of July in Yapper's Town. Do everyone a favour and don't do that - it's not really cool, and actually kinda annoying.

I was just saying, you should read the thread before posting.
That's kinda what you do on forums.

And if you did actually read the OP, he asked out of the systems he has, which is the best..

I admire your strict Netiquete and admit that I made a mistake by not paying attention to the entirety of the post.

I just believe that the devices he has will not allow him to enjoy the games to their fullest.

I also agree that the PSP will be the best platform for the job, simply because it's the most powerful one out of the lot.

Forgive me if my conviction was false and you are not, in fact, a wise guy. I bid you farewell, fellow forum user.

Actually he wanted to know if he could play them from the systems he listed, and the "one device" he was referring to was one of the stated systems.

Form what I've read on several threads here, some people have experienced problems with SNES emulation on the PSP.
I've never tried it myself, but it wouldn't hurt to try it on your PSP, wouldn't cost you nothing.

Well even if there are problems, it can't be as bad as the DS.

I've been emulating SNES on the PSP for ages and everything works fine for me, with the exception of occasional lag.
