Hacking Best flashcart for nintendo dsi XL

Hey everyone,
I just got a DSixl was wondering what flascart you recommend I have an old acekard2 that I use with my dsi.

is there a way to just side load games onto a large sd for the slide card slot or is a flashcart still required.

As far as i know, the DSi still needs flashcart to play ROMs.
R4i GOLD 3DS RTS ($16.99) is cheap but reliable flashcart based on what people here recommends.
Or if you're feeing royal, you can cash in for DSTWO ($68.99). The DSTWO can play GBA ROMs without Slot 2 flashcart, which DSi doesn't have. You can also play SFC and GBC games with it.
If you don't care about the emulators and only plays DS games, then stick to your AceKard, if it still working.
