Gaming Best Final Fantasy for DS?

I would say FF:CC if your looking to play it with friends, then it would be worth it. I enjoy action rpgs so I would choose FF:CC even if im not playing it with friends.

The upcoming FFCC Echoes of Time has random co-op match-making so you may want to wait a bit for that.

I finished 4. I tried 3, but go bored of it. CC is also good, but in terms of playing multiplayer only. I tried playing single player.. I just got bored out of my mind. It's fun playing with friends like mentioned. Especially if youhave up to 4 people. I play with my girl.

To me, FF4 was probably the best. If you don't mind doing an ass load of grinding, the story is good. Not amazing or great in my view, but good. Some of the characters are excellent, and currently the only FF game in the main franchise that I've finished, as of now.

FFTA2 was slow as hell, and I'd rather play the original for the GBA over it.

FF3's story was meh with grinding.

Revenant wings was pretty good and I liked it. Though, it's not enough for me to fully recommend it over FF4.

Lastly, CC is pretty good. Decent voice acting, story, and since it's not a turn-based RPG, even better. The ending is weird, and an enjoyable game overall.

Personally, FF4 > FFCC:RoF > RW > FF3 > FFTA2.

I really liked FFVI. I played FF3 and didin't really like it, but that's just me. There's also those other Final Fantasy games for the DS, tactics and such. I haven't played those but they might be good.

FF IV!!! i used to belive i was the only who get bored with FF III (is a good game... but i don't know...). FF XII RW is really good, is no a real FF but i found it addictive.

FF XII Revenant Wings is far too simplistic and does not give the player much freedom at all, well that's what I found at least. I got quickly bored. It is completely different from FFTA2 where it is almost too complicated for those who are interested in the classic RPG.

I really like FFIV, I just found it superior to FFIII. FFIII isn't bad but I found it a tad boring whilst FFIV has just gotten a hold on me more.

FFIV though i might give FFIII another try...
i also liked FFTA2 but my saved game disappears around the 20+ hour mark...
still a mystery to me.
