well considering biden is in the back pocket of all the organizations that feel they are losing billions of dollars from things like flashcards, and backup games and he wants to stop all of it, and he wants to tap everything to see what everyone is doing, that sounds great. and obama being a socialist thats going to work out great for everyone i'm sure. oh and obama being in favor of after birth abortion, can't forget that one.

but he is a great public speaker, so i'm sure everyone will be fine.

Haha, oh damn. Research is a wonderful thing, you know. A quick visit to FactCheck'd nullify your entire post, but whatever - at this point, only time will tell whether or not America will benefit from Obama's presidency.

actually its fact that biden is in the mpaa and riaa's pocket. he also wants to monitor things online, but he always cites that is because of other things.

obama got covered up for more than anyone i have ever seen before in an election.

on a show a while back obama made a statement about is muslim faith, and then the democrat interviewing him said you mean your christian faith and obama was all like yeah thats what i meant.

and the after birth abortion thing just got swept under the rug. i'm sure most of that stuff will disapear once he is in office though.

he is the most liberal democrat i have seen. though alot of his views are so out there that his party probably won't allow him to get alot of the stuff done he wants. and if he is to crazy he won't get a second term. so he will play it carefully.

the experts are predicting the dow to take a big hit tomorrow because of obama's views on economics. guess we will see.

Well, that was an obvious outcome.
not really, wasnt it unexpected to have bush win?
Kinda thinking that mccain would cheat the polls

Bush had a team that was smart enough to code his speeches with Biblical messages. McCain's campaign wasn't even smart enough to do that, doubt they could have cheated the polls.

Someone so needs to make a parody of 'Sweet Home Alabama' and change to 'Sweet Home Obama' or something. Anywho, I'm glad to see Obama into the White House. Now back to my dull country elections very soon.

While I don't care about the race of Obama, I have a friend that made an entertaining joke a few weeks ago.

"We have to vote for Obama! This is the whitest black guy they're going to hand us."

Thank god. We get rid of that thick looney in the white house.
Maybe Obama will keep his troops in the U.S.

McCain had no chance, Who wants a 73 year old man in charge of the country?
He can control his own bladder let alone the States

What the hell is birth abortion? If you mean partial birth abortion his support for that has been drastically overstated. And it's worth pointing out that McCain has always voted on the pro-choice side of the aisle and said that Roe vs Wade should not be overturned until he realised he needed the one-issue God Squad voters on side to have a cats chance in hell.

You must watch completely different news media to me, because all the experts I've seen are predicting a bounce.

QUOTE
The Dow Jones is expected to gain more than 180 points today as US investors bet that a conclusive Barack Obama victory at the polls will repair Wall Street sentiment and give the US economy a shot in the arm.

David Buik of broker BGC said: 'It's all happened in the hour before the Wall Street bell. the experts are saying it's Obama by a landslide so it's happy days for the markets. There is a view Obama could unite the country and build bridges with the rest of the world.'

We will indeed see.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
