Today is the day Arm9LoaderHax is officially considered dead to this world, with the release of Rosalina.

Today, we will lay him/her to rest and cherish what it has done for us.

Goodbye, Arm9LoaderHax.

(I know I'm late, please don't kill me. This is also satire.)

It's too late. I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. But I am gonna find you, and I am gonna kill you.
seriously tho, we hed a good run with a9lh. May it rest in stability.

I've never really liked funerals, whether it's a vulnerability in the 3DS boot chain or a member of my family.
Anyways I still remember back at the good ol' days, I was a Userland Peasant, until the guide @Hyoretsu made was posted. Truth is, I started hacking my 3DS with Browserhax using this guide. I didn't know video guides tended to brick (although I see no actual risk from Browserhax) so I followed it. I can't really remember on what FW I was on at that time.
The years passed, 11.1 was released adding S T A B I L I T Y and patches to exploits. More time passed, and as it did, I started losing hope in some way to downgrade my 2DS. I found an app called TikDevil which I didn't know that wasn't going to work without NAND R/W access. Since I was having problems with it, I was forced to join this site, because I had to ask questions. 11.2 came out, and I was unsure about updating because, ''Hey, a new exploit might come out''. Anyways, I was impatient and updated. Just as I thought, a new exploit was released. I regretted updating to 11.2.

More time passes, I get a Sky3DS+ around January... at that same month, SafeHax was released. It was implemented in the guide by @Hyoretsu .
Anyways, I went straight to the process of installing A9LH. Truth is, I had a little trouble... Well, firstly you had this little issue:

ChkprUUXEAEYUyu.jpg

That didn't stop me. Secondly and most dumbly, I didn't make the backup. OH yes, the backup. The one file that could save you from a brick, not there. So, I opened up the Browser to use the 2xrsa exploit. And it fails! I just couldn't load arm11.bin....

I pm'd @Hyoretsu about the issue. He told me to use the more recent version of SafeA9LHInstaller. It worked! I was so happy to know my 2DS wasn't bricked! After that, I made a CTRTransfer to 9.2 then updated normally. I went directly to installing freeShop and FBI.

More time passes, eventually, SigHax is announced. It wasn't until months later @derrek made the release. It was chaotic. People were installing the installer and most of them bricked. Then, B9S was released. I updated to it because I didn't want to miss Luma3DS updates.

Some time passes, I see this thread, and write this post.

Twas' a good life, Arm9LoaderHax!

this actually made me sad

I'm not going to lie, the only good thing I see about B9S over A9LH is the ease to install. Personally, I think that once NTRBootHax comes out, I'll be installing A9LH on consoles over B9S just because we can choose which CFW we want and aren't forced into Luma. Unless you're @Crystal the Glaceon (who changed her profile pic again) who has about thirty different in development CFWs. Ask them for access and she will give you a quiz to test your worthiness.
